Founded in1959 as DeMott Electronics Company, even then preceded by many years of experience in fundamental research and development in state of the art control systems and test instrumentation at various universities.

This technological philosophy has continued to shape the operations of DTC.  In support of this philosophy the company maintains extensive R & D programs in order to supply cost effective advanced state-of-the-art products and services to industry to achieve higher levels of productivity.

In its earlier years DeMott Technologies concentrated on the design and manufacture of electronic and servo systems for OEM customers. With the passage of time there was a rapid growth in the capabilities of the control system together with increasing numbers of instances in which the characteristics of existing OEM instruments and machines were inadequate to achieve the full potential of the instrumentation, machine-control integration process.  It was the realization of these circumstances that resulted in the management decision that DTC should expand its operations and become full service control system specialists to the earth based space test instrumentation and machine tool manufacturing industries. Refurbishing and repair also being offered.
